What should be paid attention to when replacing the gas of the nitrogen spring?

Time:2021-05-23    Edit by TengFei

Do you know what to pay attention to when changing gas for nitrogen gas springs? The following is a detailed introduction. Gas springs are widely used in the mold industry and can also be applied to other industrial fields, such as automobiles, electronics, instrumentation and other industries. From this point of view, the use of nitrogen gas springs is quite extensive, and its appearance caters to the requirements of the times. Obviously, the development of this technology is now in the ascendant. Nitrogen gas springs need to be replaced after being used for a period of time, so what should be paid attention to when replacing the gas?

Inflate with the piston rod completely exposed from the cylinder. If you are inflating without exposure, set the initial inflation pressure to 0.5MPA, and wait until the piston rod is completely exposed before increasing the pressure. Please never directly use high-pressure gas for rapid inflation. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the nitrogen gas spring, and may also cause serious damage and danger to nearby machines and personal safety. Do not charge or exhaust the nitrogen gas spring under load.

The filling gas of the nitrogen spring must be nitrogen (N2). Never fill the nitrogen spring with flammable, explosive gas or volatile liquid, otherwise it may cause an explosion accident, which is very dangerous. The filling pressure should be inflated according to the pressure range specified in the instruction manual. Inflation pressure range: 3.4MPA-15MPA (20 degrees). When venting the nitrogen gas spring, be sure to exhaust all the nitrogen gas inside the gas spring before giving up.
